 BERNARD'S MEMOIRS

I appeared in this extraordinary play at the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond.

It was written in 1914 and had the theme that big countries shouldn’t attack little ones!  Pretty topical considering the times we live in.

The play had a sequence set in the trenches that exactly mirrored events that were about to happen in the First World War.

John Galsworthy also wrote the much better known, “The Forsyte Saga”.   I played Sir John Julian and a couple of other parts.

It was a great success at the Orange Tree and was extremely well received by the critics.
